It has been raining in South Australia....raining almost every day! The sun came out on Sunday though, so we headed out on another road trip. Our first visit to this lovely wine-growing area at Easter was dry and dusty. This weekend we discovered what a difference some rain can make.
We joined our Colorado mates, Kim and Patrick, and ferreted out some new wineries. Whistler and Vinecrest...both had a lovely cabernet sauvignon.The drive was good...sort of a trial run for our trip to Alice Springs in July. It worked out famously. Our musical tastes mesh, Patrick loves to pull over to take photos, and they love to laugh. Good value! (Oh...and they'll pose for silly photos. What more can we ask!?!?!?!?)
