Visiting with trees...
The Strangler Fig trees shown here are tourist highlights in the Atherton Tableland. One is the Cathedral Fig, and the other is the Curtain Fig. Amazing things...looking like they stepped out of The Lord of the Rings! They are around 500 years old. The aerial roots that hang down eventually kill the host tree underneath. Incredible!
